DUNCAN —
Sydney Aerin Pruett of Ponca City, and R. Laker Greenwood of Duncan, will exchange wedding vows June 3, 2012, at the Marland Mansion and Estates of Ponca City with Jason Myers officiating.
Bride-elect is the daughter of Bobby and Maurisa Pruett of Ponca City. Her grandparents are John and Barbara Dillard and Ruby Smith, all of Newkirk.
Prospective groom is the son of Paul and Sybil Greenwood of Duncan. His grandparents are the Rev. Richard and Lahoma Greenwood of Duncan, Erna Laker of Laderhill, Fla., and the late John H. Laker.
Sydney is a 2009 graduate with honors of Ponca City High School. She attended the University of Central Oklahoma from 2009 to 2011, then transferred to Southeastern University, where she is studying and will graduate in 2013. She plans to then pursue her master’s and doctorate degrees. She was involved in the President’s Leadership Council at UCO and become a child psychologist.
Laker is a 2009 graduate of Duncan High School, attended the University of Central Oklahoma from 2009 to 2010, and then transferred to the Academy of Contemporary Music at UCO until 2012. He plans to be a music instructor.
