DUNCAN — NORMAN — Whitney Ellen Woods and David Alan Gdanski, both of Norman, will exchange wedding vows Sept. 10, 2011, in Rose Briar Place in Oklahoma City.

Bride-elect is the daughter of James “Chip” Woods of Duncan, and Joe and Cindy Walkowski of Salt Lake City, Utah. Her grandparents are Bill and Peggy Williams of Roff, Stella Walkowski of Salt Lake City, the late Jim and Jan Woods, and Leona Woods of Tulsa.

Prospective groom is the son of Elaine Gdanski of Marlow, and Rick and Pam Gdanski of Fulshear, Texas. His grandparents are the late Joel and Jo Cantrell, Ivy Gdanski of Oklahoma City, and Victor Gdanski of Elk City.

Bride-elect graduated from Duncan High School in 1999, the University of Utah, Westminster College in Salt Lake City in 2006. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She is a new accounts representative BancFirst in Norman.

Prospective groom is a 1999 Duncan High School graduate, attended Cameron University and graduated in 2002 from Oklahoma State University-Okmulgee. During college, he was listed to the dean’s honor roll. He is a service supervisor for Halliburton Angola.
