DUNCAN — Kori Denae Murphree of Duncan and Jaron Matthew Nix of Oklahoma City will exchange wedding vows Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at the home of the bride’s parents with Mark Crow officiating.

Bride-elect is the daughter of Kreg and Donna Murphree of Duncan. Her grandparents are Ron and Norma Cline of Point Venture, Texas, Jessie Murphree of Duncan and the late Clinton (Murf) Murphree.

Prospective groom is the son of Tom and Faith Nix of Oklahoma City. His grandparents are Velda Hough of Oklahoma City, Robert Hough of Raleigh, North Carolina, and the late Bob and Mary Nix.

Kori is a 2007 graduate of Duncan High School and 2009 graduate of the Academy of Hair Design in Oklahoma City. She is a hair stylist and the owner of Salon Chic in Oklahoma City.

Jaron is a 2003 graduate of Putnam City High School and received his bachelors of music technology from Oral Roberts University in 2007. He is a Dove nominated musician and member of the band Warr Acres, which recently signed with Dream Records and debuted on Billboard Top 200 album charts. He is employed at Victory Church in Oklahoma City.
