MARLOW —
Central High EMS and other emergency personnel, including Stephens County Sheriff’s Office have responded to an accident that happened about 3:30 p.m. Thursday at 4 Mile Road south of Caddo.
One person was ejected in the accident. It is not known how many people are involved in the accident. Air-evac rescue was requested. Roads have been closed and authorities are directing traffic. No other details were available.

Duncan Public Schools has delayed the running of school buses until the second cell of the storm passes.

Arson suspected in vacant home fires

In less than an hour, Duncan firefighters and police officers were dealing with two fires tonight. They are being treated as possible arsons because both houses were vacant.

Stephens County under tornado watch
A rapidly developing storm system has many people on alert throughout southern Oklahoma. The storm is in direct line of Lawton and does have a “hook” on it. At this time, Duncan and Stephens County is only under a tornado watch, not a warning.

Looming severe weather has First Baptist Church canceling services
With severe weather watches, tornado watches and possibility of warnings being issued this evening, First Baptist Church of Duncan has cancelled evening services and activities today, said Floyd Wininger, office administrative assistant.

Suspects appear in court, bonds range from $2.5 to $5 million
Bond has been set at $5 million for three suspects in the robbery of three Duncan convenience stores. A third suspect had bond set at $2.5 million.
