Edmond student has new entry for Trail Dance Film Festival

DUNCAN — In just a week, independent film directors, actors, editors and the like will be flocking to Duncan from across the globe for the 6th annual Trail Dance Film Festival.One such filmmaker is high school senior, Bunee Tomlinson of Edmond.   • Fire on Elm Street Arson suspected in vacant home fires

    Editor's note: Firefighters were still on scene at the time of this story filing.

    In less than an hour, Duncan firefighters and police officers were dealing with two fires tonight. They are being treated as possible arsons because both houses were vacant.

    A rapidly developing storm system has many people on alert throughout southern Oklahoma. The storm is in direct line of Lawton and does have a “hook” on it. At this time, Duncan and Stephens County is only under a tornado watch, not a warning.
