DUNCAN — Clyde and Javan Headley celebrated 60 years of marriage Jan. 2, 2010. The couple married in Henrietta, Texas, Jan. 2, 1950.
Clyde and Javan resided in Rush Springs for 32 years. The couple now resides in Duncan.
Clyde served in the Army from 1947 to 1949. He is a retired minister. He was the senior minister at Bethel Assembly of God in Duncan. Javan was a homemaker.
The couple enjoys camping, gardening, family and they are active members of Bethel Assembly of God.
Clyde and Javan had four children: Ronnie Headley and wife, Sharon, of Marlow; the late Judy Bortell and husband, Don Bortell of Arkansas; Aquila Helms and husband, Gerald of Grove; and Rod Headley and wife, Darlene of Duncan. The couple has 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Bob and Anita Bumgarner celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 15, 2011, with a private trip with their family to Arlington, Texas. Earlier in the summer they enjoyed a cruise to the Bahamas and Key West with family and friends.
