DUNCAN — Burke — 50 years
John Burke and Pat Travis Burke will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a reception Saturday, Nov. 21, at Immanuel Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Duncan.
The Burkes were married Nov. 25, 1959, at First Baptist Church in Burkburnett, Texas, with the Rev. Leroy Meyer officiating.
The anniversary reception will be hosted by the couple’s two sons, Tim Burke and wife, Kelli, and David Burke and wife, Sherri, and their three grandchildren, Jessica and husband, Charles Dore, and Kate and Tyler Burke.
They own Burke Construction and Real Estate and have worked together for 37 years.
They love spending time with family, friends and church. They like to travel and Jeep the mountains and go to the beach.
