Tugman — 50

Don and Gay Tugman of Duncan will be honored at a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2009, in Eastside Church of Christ in celebration of their golden wedding anniversary.

Hosts will be their daughter, LaDonna Locke, and son, Chris Tugman, both of Duncan.

Tugman and the former Gay Worley were married at 3 p.m. May 31, 1959, in Bailey, Okla., with the Rev. Cecil Stubbs officiating. They lived in Enid from 1959 to 1967, and in Irving, Texas, from 1967-71. They moved to Duncan in 1971.

Tugman has been a machinist for 50 years. He owned C&T; Machine Shop from 1985 to 2003. Mrs. Tugman was a dental assistant for Dr. Steve Gregg from 1983 until her retirement in 1993.

Both are members of Eastside Church of Christ. They love the Lord, their grandchildren, singing and bird watching.

They have six grandchildren: Mandi Gay of Chickasha; Alyssa Faurez of Austin, Texas; Maeghan Hatfield, Nik Tugman and Shelby Hutto, all of Duncan; and Myka Tugman of Oklahoma City. Their great-grandsons are Brant Woods of Chickasha, and Trevor Kidd and Christian Gonzalez, both of Duncan.
