DUNCAN — John and Carol Maxwell were married June 1, 1961, in Vernon, Texas.

Their family includes children, Johnny and Tammy Maxwell and Mickey Maxwell and grandchildren, Jessica and Heath.

The couple will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Bray Community Center.

A memory box will be available for cards, pictures, mementos and letters to be shared with John and Carol.
